I'd love to create an entire flash website, but i have no idea where to start.
I know i have to use macromedia flash (or is it dreamweaver?) to do it.. but all the tutorials i have found seem to be aimed for people who already know the basics.. I know NO basics of flash. none at all.. All i've done is hand coded plain html sites, and although it looks pretty good, i'd like to go flash. Any ideas? Thanks

A site entirely done in Flash is rarely a good idea, however have look at www.flashkit.com for some tutorials - you'll notice that even a site about Flash uses it sparingly, which in my opinion is the best way to use Flash

Flash sites has it advantages but can create extremely large pages for dialup connections. The use of flash must be appropriate for the intended audience of the site.
I use a flash wannabe called swish which is cheaper than flash and found that it is sufficent for my needs. The way I learned it is to download a few templates and figured out how they worked - Then went from there. YOu can also find tutorials online line just by searching google.

Flash is also a pain because it makes getting listed in search engines a nightmare because of the lack of proper text.
