Talking CD Bootdisk with diagnostic tools

Howdy all,

I wish to make a cd boot disk and have system diagnostic tools on the cd also.

I want to be able to boot to a cd and use it to format, edit, fdisk, run system diagnostics - RAM checks,HDD checks, M/board checks, Video checks, Sound card checks etc.

I can make a win95 or win98 boot cd easily and copy the normal files onto the cd but do not know what other files are available to let me attend to the above checks. I have looked around the net for info and if anything there is too much and everyone says theirs is best without really saying what it does.

Your advice will be appreciated

Chris

I have mostly answered my own question.

I am going to make a bootable CD with an auto menu on it and will write a batch file that will enable me to choose what I want to do. I have found some good ram checking software and othere system tools. I will post back later with some results.
