Could be that Internet Explorer is displaying this message because it has encountered this error when trying to run some Javascript.

Internet Explorer may be using some old files from its cache instead of retrieving newer versions from the site. Try deleting all of Internet Explorers temporary files (Tools > Internet Options ... > Delete Files ) and then refresh the page view. If the error persists then it is a fault with the page.

Reload is the same as refresh right? I cleaned out all the files and cookies and it is still doing it using my compuserve browser.

It does not do it using IE, do you have any other suggestions. It only happens on this site.

Thanks!

Is Disable Script Debugging Checked (Under Browsing)?

Check "Disable script debugging"
Uncheck "Display a notification about every script error

yes

Check "Disable script debugging"
it is checked

Uncheck "Display a notification about every script error

it is unchecked

This is so strange, I just don't get it at all, it only happens on this site, I posted about a month ago and someone else replied that it was happening to them too here.
THanks for the help!

In the Compuserve browser (which apparently is built on Netscape/Gecko), go to the Access menu and select "Preferences." In the pop-up click the WWW icon. In the next pop-up, select the Security tab. Select Custom Level. Make sure cookies (both listings) and Active Scripting have either Enabled or Prompt checked.

If that doesn't help, are you running an anti-virus program in the background? If so, does it have "script blocking" enabled? It may be that feature isn't playing nicely with Compuserve's version of the browser but gets along with IE.

Thanks so much and yes I have Nortons 2003 and yes the enable script blocking is checked. What does that mean? Can I safely uncheck it?

I lloked under the www as you instructed and this is what I found
initalize and scripts active x controls enabled
initalize and scripts active X not marked as safe enabled
scripts active controls marked as safe for scripting enabled
active scripting enabled
scripting of Java applets disabled
allow paste operations via scripts enabled

Thanks again

Try changing the below settings in your Compuserve browser perplexed and see if it helps.

initalize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe enabled > change to disable
scripting of Java applets disabled > change to enable

I just want to check that you were looking under Preferences etc in your Compuserve browser and not IE.

Sorry perplexed. Compuserve do have support forums here but you have to sign in with your Compuserve, AOL or AIM screenname and I'm afraid I do not subscribe to any of these services.
