Hi!
I have Windows 98 SE installed on one partition and Windows Xp on the other Since a few days I have started getting an error on opening Norton System works 2002. I have Internet Explorer 6.0 (without SP) installedThe Error reads as follows

INTERNET EXPLORER SCRIPT ERROR
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
" An error has occured on this page."
Line : 51
Char : 5
Error : Error in loading DLL
Code : 0
URL : res//C:\Program Files\Norton System Works\SWPLUGIN.DLL\1317

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page ?

If yes is clicked then Norton opens , But on clicking on any button the same error shows up. What is the problem related to . How do I go about it.How do I uninstall Internet Explorer? I tried reinstalling it but it says that most of he compnents are of the latest version and exits without installing.Do I have to
reinstall Norton 2002 too ?
Pleaseeee Help.

You could just try disabling script error reporting. In IE open tools>internet options>advanced>uncheck display a notification about every script error.

But if you want more information on this issue check the link below.
