Portable mp3 player
Hi Everyone
I Have now got a substantial amount of music converted to mp3 on my pc and find this good for making compilations for the car. I was thinking of getting a portable mp3 player but do not know much about them. Do they use disks cards or anything what are the pros and cons. Locally I cannot find many to choose from and one retailer said they may have stopped making them. I was under the impression they were a good bit of kit and reliable. Can anyone put me in the picture Michael

A couple of birthdays back, my missus bought me a RCA one, it plays regular CD R's, and can see if the music is in "folder" on the CD!!

Almost picked what I want But what I really want to know is about the players themselves. Are they a mini hard drive, Afloppy drive, A cd drive or a flash memory chip?. Are they prone to vibration and do they skip tracks. Guess what I'm looking for is an idiot guide  What does kbps mean etc Michael
