I was helped here once before and now I need you again. I have a hard time explaining things but here goes. I get a message that my java is corrupt are misinstalled. It says I haave a large number of exception errors. Applets not showing up or in a gray area. I went to ZD downloads and tried getting something there but it didn't work. I am not able to play aol games or even get my online answering maching to work or even go on the net, other than through aol. If any of this makes sense, could you please respond? I don't have the Windows 98 disk to reload like someone told me to do.
Thank You all.

Are we talking Java or Virtual Machine? It's all basically the same really, but it makes a difference b/c Java is 3rd party and Virtual Machine is part of Windows. If it is Java then try and uninstall it through add/remove programs in the control panel then reinstall from www.java.com. If it is Virtual Machine, go into the internet options under the advanced tab and disable then install java from www.java.com. If you really want Virtual Machine you can try reinstalling from the Win98 disc (which you said you don't have) or by downloading it if you can find it. You might try the Windows Update catalog or do a google search for it.
