I keep getting invalid page fault ,illegal operation fault or caused fault in messages. Does anyone know if I have done something wrong to cause this? I just had this CPU built 10-7-03,but am not very computer savvy. I would look extreeeeemly stupid if I took it back to the place I had it built, just to find out I was doing something I shouldn't.
thank you K. Vaillancourt :bag:

I suggest you go here (http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/), download Hijack This, and unzip it(Click here if you need a program to do this) (http://www.camdevelopment.com/cam_unzip/) . Then save the log and copy and paste it back here after a quick scan to make sure it doesn't have your name anywhere in there. This allows us to see what programs are running in the background.

Good Luck:)

Welcome to CTH

We need more information. Can you tell us the wording of one of the faults? Do you get it on-line while surfing the net? When do you get these?

HPOBNZ08 caused illegal operation in module KERNEL32.DLL at 016f:bff7a4b2, HPOBNZ08 caused invalid page fault, HPOTHB07 something, something about reinstalling service profile,et al. I visited MURF'S Garage and the guy in the upper rt corner could be me! Thanks kgv.

I have the highjack zip file and have done the scan but cant seem to do the copy/paste thing. please forgive my lack of any skill with this @&*?%# computer. Thanks for your patience and understanding. Sincerely, K G Vaillancourt

Click on "Save Log" and then it will save it somewhere and will also open the log, there you can copy and paste it, otherwise find where you saved the log and hold shift, right click, choose "open with", choose notepad or wordpad, and then it will open to copy and paste.

Ah then the problem started huh?

Here are the latest DRIVERS (http://productfinder.support.hp.com/tps/ProductFinder?h_lang=en&h_cc=us&cc=us&h_page=hpcom&h_tool=software&h_query=hp+psc+2110+all-in-one+&submit.x=6&submit.y=7)

You may want to uninstall your drivers, download the lates above and reinstall. Need help come back. You'll need to know whether it is:

» hp psc 2110 all-in-one
» hp psc 2110v all-in-one
» hp psc 2110xi all-in-one

I'll check that out. If the updated drivers don't work, then we need to look at your HiJack log as suggested by enat66.

:thumb: I went to the HP site and came up snake eyes but while running add/remove prog. the computer said my modem and my hp psc were somehow running connected. The computer had some sort of fix because I don't seem to be getting any warnings! You guys (or gals) are great! I'll definetly keep in touch and let you know how things are going. THANK YOU
