Image Print Program.
Anyone know of a good program for printing off images.
Every graphics program I have, iether prints the image as a little thumb nail, or streches it to fit the page, or askes you to tell it the size you want. I want a program that will print the image to the size that I see on my screen. Thanx' |

Sounds like you need a desktop publishing program if you want the sizes to be very accurate, or at a pinch you can get away with importing the image into word using insert>picture>from file and using the rulers in word

You want to print to the size of the screen??? When viewing pictures in most graphic programs, the size being viewed could be larger or smaller than what you actually see. You have to verify the size before printing. Also when you print you are given the option to print to page or actual size. You have to make a selection.
One of the best graphic program I found is Photoshop Elements. It has alot of the features of photoshop but around 600 bucks cheaper - I got my copy for 70 bucks. Another one is Paint Shop Pro. It has more features than Photoshop Elements and is a few dollars more. You can print what you have on screen you will have to do a screen print but here again the size will be based on how you save it and the selection you make when you print. You screen print by pressing prn scrn key.

K guess what I'm looking for is to print to the actual size of the image.

In most cases if the image quality is good, the actual size will not fit on a page unless you have a small plotter(sp?) which = big bucks Euros or whatever.

Photoshop Elements, as good as it is, isn't built for printing really, or at least not high end printing as it doesn't have the CMYK colour space available. More than adequate for web work though, it's what I use at home.
