Hi everyone you've all been helpful to me when i had a problem in win98.
i just recently had a crash and formated and did a clean install of windows i went to win2000 this time.
everyting went smooth everthing works except my scanner. i have a primax colorado 600p/1200p flatbed landscape scanner.
i did get the recent drivers for the scanner to work in win2000 but my software cd that came with my scanner is not compatible with win2000. my question is now what do i do? Is there a universal scanning program that will work with my scanner? I have spent hours all night trying to find something out about the program and win2000 there is alot that comes up on the search but when i click on the link it is not in english. I do know that they are not her in the US anymore.
Do you have any suggestions?
Would appreciate any input on this. I am stumped!!

What software came with it? You may be able to get a free upgrade....

It came with mgi photosuite primapage and primaLauncher
I already tried going to the site out of the country and it did say there are no software upgrades only driver upgrades.
only the primapage 98 loads in win2000 but it doesnt scan pictures its only for text. this is why i was wondering if there was a universal scanner program even if its to buy that would work with my scanner.

They are many out there, I use Omni Page with Windows 2000. But not cheap.

Ebay has version 8:

Thank you for that information. I was able to go to my local staples store and they had the omni on sale and said that it would work with my scanner. I thank you so much for your help that led me to get the software. And now my scanner works!! Thanks again!!

Great OMNI is a good program. Depending on what version you bought go to their web page and see if there are any "FREE" upgrades.
