Hello

I've just installed a new sound card on my pc,but i only hear sound by
using my earphone but not on the pc-box ,what could be wrong?????

when u say that u only can here sounds do u mean in cdrom by using head phones if so try what i have written below

hi R u sure that the drivers for the sound card were installed to check and see if they r right click my comp then click properties then click device manager tab loos for sounds click the + highlight ur card then click properties in genereral check and see that it says it is working then click driver tab see if drivers r there the click resources tab make sure there is no conflicts if everything seems to be alright there close all that then on task bar by clock dbl click ur speaker icon make sure that nothing is muted

As mentioned, make sure your drivers are up to date and that you don't have anything in your volume settings (use the advanced button to see all settings) that could be causing it. Also, make sure your speakers are plugged into the right jack on your soundcard, try all of them if you aren't sure.
