I'm trying to install a hp photosmart printer, it comes with a usb but the pc I'm wanting to connect it to does not have usb so I used adapters to connect it to a serial port. Now how do I get it to recongnise it through the serial port?

Have u tried installing the software for it so it recinizes u hace this printer

yes but the pc still doesn't recognize it.
