Best way to display multiple images

Lets say you have about 10 images around 400x400 pixels each.. and its intent is for people to just view them... right now i just have them displayed there, with nothing fancy. i'd like a better way to display the images, rather than to just.. have them there.. and i dont want to use a slideshow effect, either..

any suggestions??
thanks

a common way is to have a page of thumbnail images that when clicked will open the fullsize image.

There are programs that will produce the pages for you.
There was a recent thread by lufbra about them. Take a look through the forum.

You really only have two options, just display them or slideshow. You can get creative with both. The best way to display them is via thumbnails and if the visitor wants to view them then they can click for a better view.

You can also use software like swish or flash and be creative with the way the graphics load.
Also remember you cannot protect your graphics so if you do not want others to steal them for their own use, then do not post online.
