Need Help Plz--remove O/S Completelty

I have a problem, and i'm getting very frustrated; So please! any help would be appreciated!!!
With that said...lets go--

I basically want to remove everything from my PC leaving it blank and start from scratch installing both win xp pro and 2000.

History:
I stared with 2 win 2000 at the start up screen saying choose 1
(just bought it,and dats how it came),
then I tried to install win XP pro and delete the partions but it would'nt let me saying that there were some files in use or sum crap. So now I have all three: Win XP pro, Win 2K, win 2K. Then sum other cat told me to delete the win 2k files from ur startup recovery settings> defult o/s > edit. But I realized dat did not delete it, it just took away the options at startup. (Breath)--and the bad part is dat all 3 are on the same partition and I dont have the boot discs. If anyone can help I will truly be greatful.

--or any suggestions on how I can remove the two win 2k o/s' keeping win xp

Thankx in advance

Dat is a big problem

To start all over...

1st you must install W2K first then XP
2nd you will need two partitions on the drive

1. Boot with the W2K CD once the Text setup ask's for your installation partition you have the option to delete and create new partitions. If you have one drive then you will need to have two partitions. Repartition the drive then follow the screen, it will format it and install W2K.

2. Once W2K is running properly, now install XP on the other partition.

Now if you do not have XP CD and your trying to save it, then dat another story.

Have to ask does your drive have two partitions?

To remove W2K, you may be able to do this, since they are on the same partition.

1.Open my computer | tools folder options >>view
uncheck hide system files.

2.Now open the boot.ini file with note pad, will look something like this:

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\W2KPRO
change this to the location of the system folder(i.e WINNT or which ever folder you installed it in) of which ever O/S you intend to keep.

Under the [operating system] section you should have one of these lines.

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\W2KPRO="Micros oft Windows 2000 Professional" /fastdetect
or
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Microso ft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect

Delete which ever O/s you don't need.

Now delete the folder of that O/s.
