Exceptions when Trying to run a Cd

When ever I put a cd in my e drive,in my Windows 98 computer, I get an exception error and it says the following on a blue screen:
Windows
An exception OE has occurred at 0028:6420D0C1 in VxD scsi1hlp(03)---. This was called from 0028:C18338A8 in VxD scsi1hlp(03) + 00000508.

I dont know what to do. Please help me out. If anyone replies to this message email me at XxMetallica131xX@aol.com

Hey Jesse, Welcome to CTH. Sorry for the delay in answering...

You could start by deleting your Cdrom drive in device manger and reinstalling. Right click My Computer/Properties/Device Manger tab. Find your cdrom and click the remove button toward the bottom of the page. THen Reboot and let windows Reinstall your drivers....

Do you have any other problems at all?

Lot of the time, OE errors are due to a Memory issue.
