fancy little folders

my lovely partner assures me he has seen folders all fancied up ie holding music with an album cover replicated or holding CVs and having a £50 note on the cover. He cant tell me where I get the program, what its called or where he saw this!

I really fancy this so if anyone can help I would appreciate it.

To clarify cos I realise this sounds garbled -

in my documents you make new folders, instead of being yellow and "folder" shaped I would like to change them.

I use the nvidia icon package seen here .

you can do it through windows

select view-thumbnails

then right click the file you wish to change choose - properties - customise
choose picture

the find the image you wish to be displayed then click apply

Dammit: I've downloaded folderstyle but it's a bit boring, not really what I had in mind. Thanks tho', I have change some with it.

Mob: Nvidia says I need a programme (winstyle) which I don't have so fell at the first hurdle. Blah!

Psychocandy: I thought I was onto a winner with you. Unfortunately i can't follow your instructions :o . Could you try a little more explicit please (and no I'm not back on the tossing vein)

It is in one of the downloadss. The first one to be precise.It will instrall a theme with it then if you wish you can shut the theme down but all your folders will remian silver metallic like the metallic xp theme .If I knew how to upload a pic i would show you. do you know how to do that ?

Here's a cool little program called Change Folder Icons - duh! It's a 30-day/30-icon (whichever comes first) trial, which oughta be just fine for what you want. It'll pull every icon from your system and display them for you (you already have a thousand or so

), add a 'change folder icon' to your right-click context menu, change folder icons pretty much on-the-fly, and it makes a pretty nifty channel changer.
