virtual directory for ftp

I am running Windows 2003 Server and have setup an ftp site in it. the ftp site works fine and when users login they see the files correctly. My only problem is getting a virtual directory to work. I have it pointed to a client folder and everything is set up correctly. I know it is set up correctly because under the status column in IIS Manager it does not give me an error and I am able to browse the contents of the folder in IIS Manager. is there something else I need to set up in IIS or maybe Active Directory? Thank you for your time and any help you can offer.

Still cant get it

I am still having trouble getting an ftp virtual directory to work. I followed that link you gave me perfectly, including setting up the user accounts on both computers and I still cannot see the VD under the ftp site. The first time I tried making a VD from a network share, then I tried using a local directory on the actual server and that did not even show up. Any thoughts?

I'm out-of-my-league here, so hopefully someone will come along that knows 2003 Server. I will post a help message in the Mod's private room to try and get some help.
