having problems with XP on my laptop

my computer has been freezing up and I have been getting alot of different messages on my screen and when I try to do a Ctrl/alt/del the end task box freezes. here are the messages I have received:

internet explorer driver

Run-time error '91
Object variable or with block variable not set

internet explorer script error

I have run virus scan on this numerous times thinking I had a virus but it came up clean. any help would be appreciated.

Try running spybot or adaware. you can get either from http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/browse/0,cat,1443,sortIdx,1,00.asp . Also download and run hijackthis from http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/ and post the log it creates here.

Finally, give more info about your computer, ram, cpu, hd size/space available. The more info you give the better help you will get.
