I was at these forums about a month ago or so, and I had asked how to fix my Cd-Rom drive. It wasnt reading anything, and wouldnt respond. Well, here I am again. It was fixed, and now it wont read anythign again. I tried to remove it in device manager, yet when I restart, it doesnt detect a new drive as stays as it was. On that note, anyone know whats wrong?

I honestly don't know that much about hardware but it would seem that your CDROM is giving all the signs that it's on its way out the door. I'm moving this topic to the hardware forum so we can see what the hardware gurus think. :)
