I know that a dual boot system is possible, each operating system a different kind. I've never heard of a dual boot system with both being the same version of Windows. I don't know if it can be done or not. Maybe someone else knows.
**I think you'll have better luck with responces in the Win98 forum. I'm gonna move this post there.**

The only way that I know of that you could run a dual boot system using the Same OS would be to use a dual booting Software. Here a few links to readup on Dual booting and for Dual boot software..
Dual boot your Win/95 and 98 machine (http://www.cnet.com/software/0-429669-7-2020718.html?tag=st.sw.429669-7-2020716.txt.429669-7-2020718)
Dual booting Software (http://www.techadvice.com/help/Products/D/DualBootSW.htm)
And check out this Google Search for many more links... Dual boot OS's (http://www.google.com/search?q=Dual+boot+software)
