Large attachment (mpg) downloading

I have received an mpg file (attached file) that is showing to be over 11000 kb in size. My problem is that although this size file is acceptable by my e-mail service, the server refreshes every 5 minutes so that it cannot download for me. Previously, I was able to forward a somewhat smaller mpg attachment to another e-mail and download it there. But this one is too large for this service to allow to be forwarded as well. I've upgraded one e-mail mailbox to allow 10MB files, hoping to forward this mpg over to it, but this is not being allowed due to the size. I have Outlook Express and Eudora, but do not know their limitations as far as opening large files through them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

just have it split in half by the person who sent it to you. You can find splitter programs at www.shareware.com

What I am really needing to know is whether or not I can download this large mpeg video by using Outlook Express or Eudora, or is it too large even for them to handle? I can't find any resource stating what these two mail programs (any versions) can handle as far as attachment size. Once I've opened Outlook Express, that e-mail with that mpeg video attachment will no longer be available through that e-mail server. So I haven't yet tried it through Outlook Express, and would like to know beforehand if it should work.

Thanks!

The mail program should have no problem with the attachment.

The problem would be with your ISP/Mail Server.

your isp usually has a size limit for attachements. Most are between 1-3 megs. As far as limits with Outlook Express and Eudora, there are none, just whatever your isp limits you to.

One thing you can try, I am not sure about a size limit, open a account at yahoo, go to briefcase.yahoo.com have whoever sent you the file to upload the file there and you just download it. You get 30 megs of storage for free.
