sometimes when I'm going places (switching back and forth in a website) I get bumped offline. The page is up, but I am getting reconnected. When it finishes, my pointer is accompanied by an hour glass and nothing is responding. The pointer doesn't do anything, such as; respond to the back button, close window, nothing. Is this considered frozen? I DO go ahead and hit ctrl, alt, delete. I hate it cause I have to start all over, to get back to a page that was already there. Any other thing I can do? The hour glass shows it's in the process of doing something, I know. But it sure goes slow. I was also told my system hooks up slow too. He almost told me where to get upgraded, but we went into something else. I never found out. Is there a place to get upgraded for free? I thought I was accomplishing that when the computer man upgraded me to a 64. By the way, what is IE 5 or 6?
Thanks

Mine was doing that quite a bit until I upgraded my virtual drivers. IE is Internet Explorer

Go Here (http://microsoft.com/ms.htm) and then highlight download then click on Windows update. This will check out your pc and when it finishes it will tell you what you might need to upgrade on it.
