Hi all,
My name is Ryan,and I can kill Bill Gates and the whole MS staff.
Heres why,starting from the beginning,
reciently I got a cable internet connection,but didnt have a lan card,
so bought a lan card and got the connection from the hub,
so far so good,attached it,pinged it and it worked,heres the problem,
when I try to ping outside it gives me "request timed out" but when
I check it says connected to the net for blah blah minutes....
changed computers and the cable works...with the same tcp/ip connections.
I dont know if I should install drivers or what...
in the start-settings->NETWORK applet this is what it looks like

ms client
dial up adapter
ethernet card adapter
->tcp/ip dial up
->tcp/ip ethernet card
ms family login

if it helps the tcp/ip of the ethernet card settings are

if i ping it works so its not the card problem but if i ping it does not.....

The above settings are working fine for all the other computers
WITH THE SAME CABLE but if I take the cable and but it on my computer...
it does not work...PLEASE HELP
write any suggestions to ryan@jumac.com
Thank you.

Hi Welcome to CTH....

I Edited your post. I take it as those were your IP addresses. Its not good for your own safety to post IP address in the Public. Someone could use that to destroy your PC....

If I'm correct, you can connect to the Internet fine, just cant go anywhere from there...

What Version of IE are you using? Or what other Browser and version....
