Not sure what you mean by "brought my computer away" (a repair shop, maybe?) but in Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Internet Options>General tab. Click on the "Colors" button at the bottom and put a check mark in "Use Windows Colors." Click OK and OK again.
If that box is already checked, uncheck it, click OK/OK, close all Internet Explorer windows. Then open it back up, go back to the Colors setting, put the check back into the box, click OK/OK. If that doesn't work, you might have to close IE and re-open it one more time to make sure.
Sometimes IE needs to be kicked around a little to make a change take effect.

Go into IE>Tools>Internet Options>General tab and click on the Accessibility button in the lower right-hand corner. If anything there is checked, that's the problem. Remove all check marks, click OK and OK.
