Hi Johnny and welcome.

Where are you seeing this icon?

Is it in Device Manager? If so, what is it next to?

For instance:In a posting from Dullo(Email from OE to Net) just under his question is the box. When I Right click it there are 4 items-Show picture/Copy/Add to Fav/Properties. When I cl Prop, then of course it gives the URL of the image. I should have been more explicit in my post. And thanks for answering my post.
So what it boils down to is,why dont I get the pic?

OK, with you now.

It's normally nothing wrong at your end - it is an image placeholder for a broken linked image - either the link to the url of the image is wrong, the web host where the image is stored does not alow remote linking or the web host server is down.
In the quoted case in Dullo's post, tramtwo explained the link was wrong.
Dullo entered this:
{IMG}http://www.zing.com/mypictures/inbox/view.html?url=http://www.zing.com/picture/p3403113b45c57c18342f758091d30199/ff3eb0d2.gif.orig.gif&caption=anmatcat&id=4282298578{/IMG}
When he should have just put:
{img}http://a1060.g.akamai.net/f/1060/597/30minutes/www.zing.com/picture/p3403113b45c57c18342f758091d30199/ff3eb0d2.gif.orig.gif{/img}

Note {} replaces [] for illustration purposes.

If it happens for all images it may be you have images switched off in your Browser options.
