Question startup disk

I have a hewlett packard with windows 98 and was trying to format my hard drive and had a power outage while in the process. I had not made a startup disk and now I'm unable to load the system recovery cd. Where can I find a startup disk that's compatible with a HP system?

The HP Recovery CD is bootable, so if you have your boot sequence set properly, it should boot the system if you restart with the CD in the CD Drive.

A startup disk isn't going to be of much use to you with an HP Recovery CD and not a Windows Installation CD.
