Startup

Almost anything in the STARTUP folder can be removed safely, just right click it and hit DELETE.

You can also turn off unwanted things in the SYSTEM TRAY, right click what ever it is and sometimes there is an option not to run it in the System Tray. Other times you have to go into the settings of the program and tell it not to run it in the System Tray.

click start/run and type in msconfig, click on the start up tab and untick anything you don't want started, leave the symtray entry selected as it is your system tray. reboot and you should get your resources back.
