I used to be able to run this game fine a few months ago, now it wont run on my PC at all!!!
I havent changed my PC apart from format it as it was running very slow. Specs are:
AMD Duron 1ghz
256mb pc133 sdram
64mb geforce 3d card
2x 20gb hard drive
cd/cdrw/floppy drives
The game will install, but when i try to play the game by clicking "new game" the dreaded blue screen comes up. Im running Win98SE by the way.
Could you help please as i dont think hardware is the problem???

After formatting and reinstalling Win 98 did you re-do all the updates you had previously installed (esp Video Drivers and DirectX version).

I had this same problem with another game, I uninstalled, completley, I mean everything, registry the lot, to do with the game, rebooted the computer then reinstalled the game.
By the way Ive tried upgrading my nvidia drivers on a few occasions with out success and always reverted to my original driver.

Sometimes I find updating my drivers makes games stop working (and also many times makes them work)

I would write to nvidia because it may be a popular problem that they might be able to fix on the next driver update.

Have you checked for any updates for the game itself? There may be a patch that addresses the issue. I didn't like ETM on PC, it's way better on PS2, so I've never checked for updates, but an update patch for Vietcong was what it took for me to run that on my PC.
