A Friend Asks This...

Quote:
Anyone know anything about cameras stuffing up?.....I took a heap of pics up the river last week, and when I turned the camera on to download them it said "no images to display"...all the pics have vanished!...I took another pic out the back and it said it was pic no 48, so that would seem that 47 pics are there somewhere. Now when I take a pic, I can see it in the view finder, but if I click on review it says no images to display and the pic disappears........any ideas anyone?
Any help would be much appreciated!!

I forgot to ask, would you also find out about the camera itself brand, model, software used to transfer the pictures if directly from camera. Also what software the pictures are viewed with on the computer. The more info the better.

However, I do know on my digital camera the picture number continues to increase inspite of deleting the pictures from the camera.

OK, its a Kodak Easy Share CX4230 and the software to transfer on computer and view them is Kodak Easy Share software.

But the pics arent only disappearing when I transfer them....they are disappearing off the camera after I take them and try to view them.

Does your buddy have another card to try in the cam? I suspect the card.

What happens if trying to view the pictures in my computer instead of using the kodak software? It should show up under scanners and cameras.
