In WinXP, Media Player can be removed through Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Add/Remove Windows Components, select Accessories and Utilities, click Details button, select Multimedia, click Details button. There, finally, is where you uncheck Media Player to uninstall it...and re-check it to reinstall it.
Of course, if you're not running XP, that's not where it'll be.

thanks,
I actually got it to work last night. I couldnt find out how to uninstall it, so i just deleted the program's folder and reinstalled, which didn't work on the first try. i did it a few times and now it works fine. I still have no idea what the problem was. |
