Are you talking about java or javascript. Both are two completely different scripts?
Give a link to a page that you are having problems with. Also check in tools - internet options - advance - scroll down to java sun/microsoft vm and select the one that applies to you.

everything is enabled like it should be.
and its anything java related, for example if i go to http://play.games.com/playgames/home.jsp and i click on monopoly and try and play there will be an X, or if i go to http://geocities.yahoo.com/v/pb.html and go to page builder to try and build a site it wont load and the link doesnt show up.
a good example is when i got to http://www.calgarytransit.com the picture on the very middle doesnt work. its basically anything like that

Try the following, tools - internet options - advance - scroll down to java sun -unselect, scroll to microsoft vm, select. restart
If this does not work, download and install microsoft vm from here (http://java-virtual-machine.net/download.html)
Also are you behind a firewall?

You installed it pretty fast, are you saying in msie under tools, internet options, advance, and after scrolling down the box, you do not have Microsoft VM? It should be right after Java (sun) What version of msie do you have? If MSIE 6, then you need to go to add/remove click on internet explorer and do a repair.
