I have an old TIGER(4 yra old) computer with a 48x CD drive that wont open. I did install a new 40GB harddrive with no probs. Is there anything special I have to do after installing a new 56x drive. Thanks in advance.
I had help B 4 on another prob and got help.
This website is the BEST.So are the people.

CD drivers are pretty generic.
You should be able to do a straight swop.

Allways be cautious when opening the PC.
Take static precautions.

The only connections you have will be
IDE cable (From Motherboard)
Power Cable (From Power Supply)
Audio Cable (From Sound Card. Optional)
