Hi, welcome to cybertech..

First I would get Adaware and check for any Spyware that may be trying to access the Internet... You can get it here AdAware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/aaw.html)

Second I would go to Start/Run/msconfig/Startup Tab and uncheck all unneeded applications. That will help your system Resouces out alot....

Third, just to rule out any nasties on your system, I would go to Cybertechs Virus information page (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/html/av.shtml) and use the Free online Virus scanner.... Just to be on the safe side..

Along with what dodge has suggested, a scandisk and a defrag on your system could hurt either. :)

She has done bothe scan disk and defrag. I am going there tomorrow and will run them again. She did AdAware and it found 132 items.

Nothing yet has stopped the slow response when clicking on MY COMPUTER or WINDOWS EXPLORER. Also, WINDOWS EXPLORER is still trying to dial up.
