Hey!

I see so many times people getting in a situation that if they could go back, they'd be just fine. Well, I use GoBack by (edit) Roxio, and it works! If something messes up in Windows, from a bad install or just some crazy reason, I can restart my computer and go back to a time that my computer was working fine. It has been a very, very reliable program.

So if you're tired of formating your hard drive, or you're tired of installing a program that wrecks Windows, take a serious look at purchasing GoBack. It works! :)

Note: I have nothing to gain with the sale of GoBack. I'm just an average guy that uses it. :D

I'm holding out till they make GoForward. ;)

Seriously, it's a good point to do this. It's so good WindowsXP has it.
Hard drive Ghosting, and these Goback type of programs save hours
of misery.

I don't usually recommend Norton programs.

The only one I use in Norton Ghost and I find it invaluable.
I spend alot of time "tinkering" with my PC and Ghost is an excellent way of keeping my system as I want it.

Partition Magic is also invaluable.

Hi Guys,
I have used GoBack by PowerQuest for a couple of months now, and a 'bacon saver' it really is. You can go back if needs be for over 2months of 'safe starts' and/or pick a time just before things went wrong.
Personally it is a MUST HAVE, high on my list.
Give it a try. :) :) :)

Just a quick question on this. Since I crash alot, and have to come here for help, decided to look at this program. Visited PowerQuest site and searched for it, but couldn't find. So did a search on Google, and found a bunch on GoBack. Problem is, everything listed it as a program from Roxio!! Am I missing something????

I think you better check the About in the menu there. I'm not sure what you are using.

Ok the way this works is that the term GoBack is being commonly
accepted as a procedure more than a program name the same way
ghosting is a terminology more than a program.

Adaptec(Roxio) has one called GoBack (http://www.roxio.com/xpinfo/gbupgrade.jhtml)

Powerquest never made a program called GoBack although
the program they had did GoBack functions. Their program
was called SecondChance but they have discontinued
it and sell Drive Image (http://www.powerquest.com/driveimage) instead which is
a hard drive ghosting program.

Goback types of programs are not as powerful as hard drive
ghosting. Drive Image, and Norton's Ghost (http://www.symantec.com/sabu/ghost/ghost_personal/) are hard
drive ghosting products. Ghosts create an exact image of
your hard drive where Gobacks basically copy files and
configurations.

Please correct me if I have something wrong here anyone.

LOL Junky, an almost failed spammer!!! ;)

Okay, so what's the best then, Roxio's Go Back, or Norton's Ghost???? :)

For you and other CyberTecher's, ghosting is the way to go. For my Mom, GoBack-style is the simplest. ;)
