Hi Guys,
I am at a point where I think a faster 'system'is needed, so I am posting my present spec. and asking for assistance generally as to what I can aim for.

Processor AMD K6-2 500mH,
Hard drive 17.41Gb Maxtor, (7.44Gb Free)
Mobo FIC VA-503+PCB1.X, Busclock :100mH Bios Award 4.51 PG
Memory -- 256Mb pc133 (4mem. sockets empty)
Graphics -- Nvidia TNT2 64/model64Pro

Given this frugal spec. is there anything I could do,(myself) to help my system run faster and smoother. or :---

1. Can another HDD be added, or has a new bigger HDD to be put in its place.
2. Can someone sugest a Mobo that would just fit in and replace the existing one.
3. Can I just add more memory in the already existing slots.
4. What is required to put a 1Gig. Processor,(or bigger)

The answer maybe to forget it and go for a new system, I would like advice please, on the scale of what I can do from minimum to maximum of work involved.

Your thoughts will be much appreciated, in some depth if possible.

Aopologies, I forgot to add,-- it runs on Win 98 SE.
