:) Hello everybody,
When I turn on my PC (I operate on Win 98)
after all booting processes the message appears:

" A required .DLL file, GGWHOOK.DLL was not found"

What should I do with this problem?
I run some MBook CD, from my schools textbook, and it contains some movies, so maybe it is connected somehow??
Please help me

I searched the world and only found one reference to that dll.
It's in Polish and I can't get it translated properly but the word
spyware was in the same paragraph.
Get Ad-aware (http://download.cnet.com//downloads/0,10152,0-10106-110-7302674,00.html?gid=63806&tag=st.dl.10106-100-7302674-7302674.dln.10106-110-7302674) and check your machine for spyware.

Here is the Polish reference. I hope it doesn't contain anything bad.

biblioteki drugiemu w czasie pracy...

:( I am Polish, and I have read this message that you have sent me, thanx.
But still I do not know how to remove it from my PC, this message.
It was some Polish chat software (suposively good, and safe) that I have downloaded time ago), so it looks like it's connected somhow to this .dll message?
Ok, I will wait and see if you guys have something else to tell me, about mu problem and how should I fix it.
Thank you
:D

Ah, now I understand your name Copernicus. Before
I thought you liked astronomy, now I see you like
astronomy and Polish astronomers :)

Well I don't think you have much to worry about really. The
error message means that the Trojan is not working. The
library-file ggwhook.dll is not on your computer
(or at least not where it's suppose to be).

You will however have to remove the *.exe from your startup
(* = can be named anything, these "*" are called wildcards).

What the *.exe is named? Only you know because it's on your
computer. If you could post here everything with a checkmark
beside it in msconfig we can tell you how to get rid of the rest
of the Trojan (if that's what it is).

Go to your Start(button)
Run...
type msconfig hit enter
Startup(tab)

Post everything with a checkmark that has a file name ending in .exe
Also post any line that starts with run= or load=

It was some Polish chat software (suposively good, and safe) that
I have downloaded time ago), so it looks like it's connected
somhow to this .dll message?
It is still possible that it is a harmless chat program only but,
let's look at your startup list of check marked items first.
