In newer versions of Photoshop there is a feature that prevents the coping of currency. Check here (http://www.wired.com/news/privacy/0,1848,61877,00.html?tw=wn_polihead_3) for more information. What do you think about this? Is this big brother in action?

Adobe revealed it added the technology after a customer complained in an online support forum about mysterious behavior by the new $650 Photoshop CS software when opening an image of a U.S. $20 bill.

LOL, AnnMarie!
I guess it is Big Brother in action for sure. I have no idea how counterfeiters do what they do, but if it's actually through this program, even in part, I can understand why they would do it. It doesn't make me angry at all. That's about all I can say, since the only thing I know about it is from a Nancy Drew book that had a bunch of counterfeiters......they hung out in a cave in the country, and hid all their machines there! And somehow, I don't think that counts for knowledge! :D

You know, you do have a point. I see it. One thing leading to another, as sometimes happens. That would be horrible, the things you mention. I know lots of people are already upset, feeling that certain privacies and rights are already being trod upon in the last few years. I guess I haven't given it that much thought and maybe I should, rather than be the type who doesn't care until it **personally** affects me......!
