Hello, I have a small problem. I had a problem with my wives computer and had to clear the disk and load ME. Everything worked but playing CD music. I have a Creative Labs CT4810 and lost the Sound Blaster Vibra 128 application. I found a driver for Sound Blaster 128 on the Web. The only other problem I find with the sound card is that It has a test that you can run under the control panel sound selection. The test runs, but when you try the microphone, it sounds like the CD. The music from the CD is very garbled and like half the sound is there. The radio stations sound fine.

Addional info: I have Norton AV running.

Any Ideals?

It does sound as though you have the incorrect driver.
Where did you download the driver from?

I am not sure. I pulled alot of drivers, but most of them would not run because I did not have the application. I called Creative Labs and they are going to send the complete CD. I will try it and see if it fixes the problem. It should be here in a few days. Thanks.
