Windows Me re-install problem

Hello Techie's!
I hope you can help me on this one!
I have a Toshiba Satellite Laptop with windows millenium factory installed.
I have the boot disk CD.
I could not do a restore with that so I did it in The Dos mode and went to the Windows Cab folder for setup.
That worked til it rebooted and it said enter user name and password to log on to windows, I clicked cancel then the next screen said Windows millenium edition setup wizard....please enter your user information.....type your name and your company name below. If you do not want to include your company name leave the text box blank. so I typed in my name clicked on next and I now got this message.....error message SU0350 "setup cannot verify the end user license agreement. windows millenium cannot be setup without this agreement. setup will now close.
computer shuts down.
Any way I can get the files in my laptop harddrive in does mode to be sent to my home compter through networking?I have windows xp professional on my home computer.

Or please suggest a better way to get my laptop back up.

asap.

thanks!!!
