Hiya,

I've just installed a new Graphics card in my computer (Hercules Prophet 4500 64mb), but have encountered a slight problem....

My desktop is not filling the size of my screen, a 17" monitor. The task bar is level with the bottom of the screen, but the top stops a little before and the sides are concaved inwards (approx an inch) from either side.
I have tried various screen resolutions and a tool within the display settings that stretches the screen out to the edges, but cannot get rid of the concave effect or the distortion it causes.

I'm more than a little baffled and a little frustrated (OK a lot!!!).

Help please!!!!!

Thanks

Jon.

Welcome to CTH

Does the monitor itself have adjustments, most newer ones do.

What screen resoilution are you running. Right click anywhere on your desktop (empty space) then go to Properties.

Under the SETTINGS TAB, what is the screen area and colors set to?
