Very slow loading images Help!
I am posting for a friend. Win98se AMD K6-2 450mhz using a Riva TNT 2 graphics card. He has just formatted and reinstalled windows98se. His IE pages are taking an age to load particularly where there are a lot of images. Painfully slow. He is also getting disconnected more then he used to. Any ideas anyone. Have run IE 6 repair. Thanks

Start with:

Are the right video drivers installed?

Are there any device conflicts.

Right click "My computer' then to properties, then to Device Manager TAB.

Under Graphics is TNT2 listed?

Are there any Yellow splats next to any device?
