Hi lonewolf112464 , welcome to Cyber Tech Help.

You haven't been ignored. I did see your post and have
been searching for answers. It seems you have spyware.

Normally I would send you to get a free program called
Ad-Aware. It's made by Lavasoft and it does a great
job of detecting, and removing, spyware. It seems though
that this msbb.vxd(software driver) belongs to msbb.exe
as well. Here's the kicker, this is new-age spyware.

Spyware has always been more of a nuisance and just plain
blatant disregard for people privacy. Your spyware is the
next level spyware. Your spyware belongs to a company
called web3000. This breed of spyware knows about Ad-Aware
and has been know to hide from Ad-Aware. One scenario I
read claimed that web3000's spyware makes your computer
crash when Ad-Aware's scan is started.

This junk that you have on your computer acts the same
as another type of software that we all know and dislike
and what web3000's spyware resembles is a virus.

Apparently when the msbb.exe is deleted there is a helper
application that attempts to replace msbb.exe and its
registry entries if you should delete them.

This is nothing more that the actions of a virus. Self
replication and cloaking from scans.

I found one site with references to removal of web3000's junk.
I'm afraid that's all I have to offer at this point in time.
I will be looking into this further and notify you here in this
thread if I discover anything worthy of looking at. For now
take this link to attempt removal of your spyware.

At that site there is a reference to download a monitoring program called
InCtrl5. The link there is dead but I found the download here for InCtrl5.

Hi lonewolf112464 and Spider

I just wanted to add that
about eight months ago my AdAware detected
two web3000 spies residing as Identified Registry Keys.
If I let adaware deleat them, my modem would stop working
and I would have to restore the registry to get it back.
But that also restored the web3000 spies. (real nice)
I ended up putting them in the adaware Ignore List.

I later reinstalled the OS for other reasons and haven't
seen any more of them.
I hope I don't.
