Built-in microphone?

I can't find out if I have a built-in Microphone. I've got 3 Real small slits on TOP front of Monitor and one on the front--up top. Someone said "oh, youv'e got a built in monitor" which was news to me. DO I? How can I find out. I went to Hewlett Packard and it's a lousy help site and didn't find Anything worthwhile. Thanks
