Default Mail Client is basically the program your computer has specified that it is going to use whenever you click on, let's say, a link to an email adress.
Usually this is Outlook Express unless you have installed another program such as Eudora. If you have a web-based email account and don't use Outlook Express to check your mail then when you click on an email link it might open up a blank email, but you can't send it to the person because you do not have it set up.
If you gave us just the second part of your email address (everything after the @ sign, ex= @hotmail.com) then we might be able to help you set up your mail account so it uses outlook express.
Hope this Helps:)

Are you using the AOL browser (do you pay for AOL internet) or do you just have an AOL email account?

I use AOL only for e mail and instant message and want to keep them for mail and IM, and pay them 4.90 per month. I can't send any mail either as of today. I also have bellsouth.net, which i I have my DSL line thru.
