Compaq Factory Restore Error #1802

After doing a Factory Restore from my 2 discs, I receive an error #1802, Image file is invalid or corrupted, and it appears that everything was downloaded because the 2nd disc automatically ejected. I cannot find anything on compaq's site to help. Any ideas???

there are CD cleaning kits available.

If the CD has a scratch then it may be unrecoverable.
