Help I went to turn on my computer this morning and it is reading
Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device. I have never seen this message before and dont know what to do

It didnt work its not reading my hard drive at all

i HAVE WHAT i THINK IS THE SAME PROBLEM. MY MESSAGE IS "INVALID BOOT DISKETTE IN DRIVE A- INSERT BOOT DISKETTE" I DON'T HAVE AN DISKETTE AT ALL IN THE COMPUTER A DRIVE. I HAVE FOUND A SITE , "BOOT DISK .COM" AND HAVE DOWNLOADED FROM IT AN "ME " BOOTDISK, WHICH i AM GOING TO TRY WHEN I GET HOME TONIGHT. TRY THAT- AND WE CAN COMPARE NOTES MANANA.

It's dead my c-drive is gone :( I hooked it up as a slave and I couldn't kick it in the bios wouldn't even read it :( Hope this isn't the same thing and you had better luck with yours

Did it work? I'm having boot problems too. When I turn on my computer it flashes a REALLY QUICK message in which all I can make out are the words "error" and "boot." I just today downloaded the boot disk from bootdisk.com but have not tried it yet. Please let me know if it worked on your computer!
