I'm using a Maxtor external hard drive to save and archive Outlook 2000 e-mails (NOT Outlook Express) in a .pst folder on the drive. Things were going along fine...I could seamlessly move e-mails I wanted to save into an Outlook folder view structure replicated on the drive. Now, all of a sudden, I can't move anything into any folder on the drive. When trying to move any message or folder, I get a gray dialog box: "Can't move items. The items could not be moved. It was either already moved or deleted or access was denied."
All of the non-e-mail folders and files, e.g., Word and PowerPoint documents, digital photos are working fine and can be move and transferred fine. What would cause the problem with Outlook e-mail messages to crop up and does anyone know of a remedy or fix?
Thanks!
