mine isnt as bad as the other people's problem. when i turn on the computer. the comp is on but windows does not load.(some say its the blue screen, but my screen stays black.)
this has happened alot before. i tried calling windows. those *******s say it was a mistake and a bunch of people had the same problem. well i turn off and turn on the computer time after time. then pushing the f1 key. any help on this. thanks!

Hi....try starting up in safe mode (tap f8 while booting) and choose safemode.
You will be able to run system restore from there.

No...you can restore to an earlier time before the probs started...the only thing you will lose is any progs installed after your chosen restore point.

Yea, go into safemode and restore to a previous restore point. Use a date when there was not a problem.

hi again buddy...when you are in safe mode your mouse will not work...use the arrow keys
Go to start..programs...accessories...system tools...system restore
You will see options in there....choose restore my system to a previous time
you will then see a calender....all the restore points are in bold
click on one of those and follow the prompts on screen....obviously choose a point before your problems started..any bad installations/settings changes etc that caused your problems will be removed.
