Would you help me get the blue out??

I've got a logo image that I pretty much like. Actually, I just found it at a banner place and then changed it a bit at GIF Works. But even there, the blue in the outlines, some of it I couldn't seem to click on and get the color I want, which is the purple you see, which is 94, 52, 113. I guess it's so small that when I tried to click on it, it changed the black background to purple, which isn't one I want. I want it just like it is, except all of the outlines to be the purplish color. I have PhotoShop so I tried with that; problem is, I have no clue what I'm doing! If someone could just tell me that it would be fine!

Without getting too specific...

First, you need to increase colors in the image to 16 million. Then you can use any color you want. The image currently has a pallette of 72 colors and you can only use those unless you "increase colors". This is only temporary while you work on the image. The colors will be reduced again (to 256 or less) when you save it but the pallette will include the new colors you've used.

Use a color replacer tool or a line draw tool to change colors. If you make a "selection" first, it can help you draw only where you want to change the colors.

Also, the text... if you want to use "antialias" to get rid of the jagged edges, you have to checkmark the box. Antialias is only available after you increase colors.

I use Paint Shop Pro so the tool names might be different but the process is similar.

Well, that will be a start! I'll go give it a whirl and thank you. I may not be back for awhile, LOL, but I will come back and say how I got along! I'd never have figured any of that out on my own, I can assure you of that!

I was a complete and total failure, LOL! But, there's always tomorrow! Meanwhile, I fell in love with another banner and am having an even worse time with that, Gawd! :rolleyes:
