Hi, me again
Recently I started to run disk defragmenter to try and speed up my system a bit and I received an error message saying that Disk defragmenter couldnt finish because there were errors on the disk and it recommended that I run scan disk, so I ran scan disk and the errors it was detecting were something about files being invalid because there date was in the future and it said it had something to do with the sytem clock, there were othr errors on other files as well. Scan disk apparently fixed them all, but I don't trust basic windows programs to fix "weird" things. any ideas would be great.

As well as a side note, I have been having sytem freeze problems fairly frequently because of low resources, I have 256mb ram and my video card is 32, and i don't run that many programs. The only thing that I can think of is that a while ago I got a virus that crashed my computer so I took it in and said tht they might as well reformat the hard drive, but they just did a sytem restore and from what I have heard a system restore just kind of puts "bandaids" on things and makes you computer run with some glitches,....any ideas would be great!!!!

I don't know how this site works if you guys get paid or what, but the help you have given me has been great!! thanx

You log is ok per another thread so your computer should be clean or is this another computer. Did you try running defrag after fixing everything via scandisk?

When I've had similar problems in the past I have found Norton Utilities to be a godsend. It's like a more sophisticated scandisk that finds more errors than scandisk and will fix them plus it has options to help maximize the performance of your computer.
