MishY I want to THANK U!!!!!

I want you to know you saved me over $200 that I didn't have to begin with.

Let me start by telling you my story. I bought a new computer and when I went to buy it I told the guy that owned the place that I wanted a computer with all the bell and whistle's something that I wouldn't have to upgrade in the next little bit. I got everything upgrade I could afford. Big monitor and all. Then I got "Road Runner" cable modem, man was it fast....at first. When I first got it I went to everything every site I could think of. I could click anything and it was downloaded,uploaded and they were there in a blink of a eye. Now keep in mind at this time all I knew about computers was point and click basically. Then one day my computer wouldn't tab, what I mean is when I would hit the tab key it would take I'm not kidding 30 sec. before it would go to the next line ( when filling out forums ). I didn't think muck about it at the time until I went to my email account. I clicked on the icon like I do every other time and it took 4 mins. ( I know because I timed it )to bring up the primary email, and as luck would have I have the second email account, so there was another 4 mins. just to check my email!!!!! Now this all began in Oct. of 2000 I was to much of a tight wad to get it fixed then so I dealt with it since it wasn't Broke it still didnt work, just not as fast. Some how or another I found this fourm, and I told my wife before I started reading the topics wouldn't be neat if I found a subject that was like ours and "WE" fixed our own computer. And I'll be durn I saw this topic "Slow Slow Computer". I read where you said click start and type in SFC and let the computer restore its files. I did one at a time, I thought I would never get finished they're were so many exe. files that maybe infected I restored them all. And it fixed my computer's email and everything. Now that this long story has come to an end "I want thank YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!

It's nice for members to let us know when their problems are rectified because it allows others to then search using the search in these forums for their specific problem and ya never know it could well be yours. This way they can find an answer to their situation and get things fixed quickly
